PDP III OOTD

Here's a picture of me chilling on a makeshift boat staring out to the horizon.
Outfit of the day, or "OOTD" for short, is a phrase youths and hippies alike use when posting an image on social media with the intention to peacock their lavish outfit for that particular day. Well, we've decided to do the same but with a twist! We've invited a couple of foreign friends to join us for a day as we bring them to a little tour around George Town. Theme of the outfit, plain casual, slipped into white tees with a pair of daily use denim. Oh, don't forget to dress along with our fabulous swag!
Spicy Lemak at Beach Street

Opening Hours: 11 AM - 10 PM
Closes on Monday
Its interior was thought through, keeping its elements simple yet different from other eateries. With a cozy atmosphere for guest to appreciate rustic design and its somewhat minimalist vibe. The range of food selection was adequate for families especially. As highlights of the menu are their vast range of nasi lemak variants, price points are reasonable as they come in large portion. However, during our wait after we've placed our orders, I noticed there was only one worker in sight. Frantically pacing around the entire shop as if she was looking her escaped pet hamster that had gone on a jail break escape episode. But all was forgiven when our meals finally arrived.
Here what I ordered:
Nasi lemak with whole chicken leg at just RM14.90!
Deeply in love with its in-house made chili that makes the dish so much mouth watery! A hinch of heat without actually burning your lips, its overwhelmed with a savory sweetness that pairs well with the chicken. Add on a little bit more to blend in with the rice and you have yourself a dish that will undoubtedly leave your wanting for more of their secret sauce!
After lunch and some quick discussion on what's in-stored next, we headed out to a nearby cycling rental to get ourselves some wheels to get around town easier. There was an arsenal of bike design to choose from, but I chose something practical; something with a mounted basket to dump stuff into.

Children on the Swing Along Step by Step Lane

This was not actually in the itinerary but we stumbled across this mural art while riding around. If it wasn't for the crowd of tourist gathering in a spot, we wouldn't notice such hidden lane. Nevertheless, a great opportunity to snap a quick picture and hide underneath a shaded spot.

Khoo Kongsi is a large Chinese clanhouse with elaborate and highly ornamented architecture, a mark of the dominant presence of the Chinese in Penang, Malaysia. The famous Khoo Kongsi is the grandest clan temple in the country. It is also one of the city's major historic attractions. The clan temple has retained its authentic historic setting, which includes an association building, a traditional theatre and the late 19th century rowhouses for clan members, all clustered around a granite-paved square. It is located in Cannon Square in the heart of the oldest part of the city of George Town, in the midst of narrow, winding lanes and quaint-looking pre-War houses exuding a palpable old world charm.
